The Sparco Master Advanced Fiberglass Seat is designed to improve cockpit safety and support, even in competition vehicles with restricted interior space. Built to FIA 8855-2021 standards, it combines a high-strength fiberglass shell with an outer carbon fiber layer to improve impact resistance and significantly reduce overall weight.

Explore the key features that support comfort, safety, and installation flexibility in demanding motorsport environments:

FIA 8855-2021 Approved Construction: Built to the latest FIA 8855-2021 specification for fiberglass seats, this design ensures improved structural performance and side-impact protection in line with updated motorsport safety requirements.

Carbon Fiber Outer Layer: A bonded carbon fiber shell surrounds the fiberglass core to reinforce the structure, deliver greater impact energy dissipation, and reduce seat weight by 3kg (11kg total weight) which contributes to improved chassis balance and lower overall vehicle mass.

Integral Head Restraint System: Fixed lateral head support is built into the shell design to control side movement during impact and reduce the risk of head and neck trauma, particularly when used with an FHR device.

Shock-Absorbing Head Foam: Additional impact foam around the headrest area improves comfort and safety by softening potential contact points, offering another layer of passive protection during lateral load events.

Non-Slip Shoulder and Base Fabric: Textured high-grip material is used in key body contact areas to reduce movement under load, helping maintain consistent driving posture and reducing driver fatigue over long stages or sessions.

Memory Foam Padding: Cushions in the base and backrest are lined with memory foam to offer enhanced pressure distribution and comfort without compromising driver feedback or seat stiffness.

Low Profile Base Cushion: A slim base design positions the hips lower in the shell, which improves leg support, enhances lateral containment, and contributes to a more stable driving position under cornering forces.

Integrated Harness Slots and Safety Net Guides: Six harness slots support multiple harness routing options including 4 and 6 point systems, and the inclusion of side safety net guides ensures secure and regulation-compliant fitting of additional safety equipment.

This seat helps improve cockpit ergonomics, reduce fatigue, and strengthen driver protection in closed-configuration race and rally cars where safety and weight management are critical. The combination of modern materials, FIA 8855-2021 compliance, and adaptable fitment features makes it a smart addition to any safety-conscious motorsport setup.
